Causes Belly Fat in Women

causes belly fat in women

Two part question……. Would health insurance pay for breast reduction if it caused back problems?

Is is possible that a slender woman {say 4 ft 11 1/2 who weighs 100 pds, in her 40’s} could possibly have lower back problems due to excess belly fat from having two children? Would insurance pay for a tummy tuck?

Sorry, that may have been a three part question!

They will pay for the breast reduction if the doctor says it’s medically necessary. They will not pay for a tummy tuck. With your breasts, there really is no way to make them smaller if it’s all breast tissue, and not a lot of fat. They require surgery. With your stomach, all it requires is hard work and exercise to get it smaller. They will not pay for a tummy tuck because there are alternative ways to treat it that don’t require surgery.
