dangers of belly fat
Need a good quality toning belt, any recommendations?
Hullo, I’m looking for a decent electric toning belt for around £100.
Before anyone says “they don’t make you lose weight do a sit up lolol”, I am not using one to develop a 6 pack or lose fat on my belly (although that would be a bonus).
I have a uncomfortable lump on my abdomen which was initially thought to be a hernia, luckily the doctor confirmed it isn’t, however the muscle wall has become weakened and I am at danger of hernia in the future.
I was told to build my stomach muscles up, however due to a problem with my pelvis, sit ups and crunches will damage the nerves in my legs.
Nasty eh?
I was advised to try a toning belt, and to avoid the cheap ones as they do very little.
I’ve been looking at slendertone products, however I understand you have to change the pads every 4-6 weeks, which sounds costly.
Is this the case with all good quality belts?
Can anyone recommend me an alternative?
Your best bet would be to get a slendertone belt; ive got the slendertone system and it works a treat, and i had the flex before that. http://www.toning-belts.co.uk
I tried a couple of the other ones, and they done have nearly the same effect;
re: The pads. It is recommended you change the pads every 6-8 weeks, but they dont cost too much. Also, I found that they kept their stickiness long after 8 weeks and i didnt really notice any performance problems either. It may have been luck but it was working fine for me.
I didnt have to change the pads on the cheaper variant i used (i forgot the name), however, the performance was terrible anyway.
