belly fat removal
Is removing belly fat with liposuction (or some other surgical procedure) as beneficial as working it off?
I have been trying to get rid of belly fat by exercising 3x-4x a week and eating a sensible diet, but I am not seeing progress. I’m a female, 61 years old and this is the first time in my life that I’ve had a weight problem. I know it is not healthy to have the fat anywhere, but particularly around the middle. I’m wondering if liposuction removal of the fat will give me the health benefits, or if it must come off naturally somehow. I’m at my wit’s end!
Actually I just found the answer to my question at http://www.courier-journal.com/article/20100325/FEATURES03/3250309/1010/FEATURES/Body+Shop+%7C+Does+liposuction+improve+your+health?
Well, there are limitations for liposuction done on your tummy.
Liposuction cannot remove the deep-seated fat (which is usually located in between the stomach linings).
You still need to exercise and eat a healthy diet to combat this kind of fat.
If your tummy is of certain shape (for example a protruding stomach), no amount of liposuction would get the tummy become flatter…..
Anyway, you might want to read about all the limitations of tummy liposuction here: http://www.perfect-body-toning.com/abdominal-liposuction.html
