i’m gaining weight and want to stop it. how do i lose belly fat?

i’m fifteen and i’m getting fatter. i want to stop it before it gets worse, and take a turn for the better to help my body and health.
how do i lose weight, especially belly fat, in a way that’s appropriate for my age?

Make a routine of a small core workout every night, or as often as you can. I really recommend planks. Planks are when you’re in sort of push-up position, but you hold yourself up with just the tips of your feet and your forearms laying flat on the ground for as long as you can. It really works your core, and can be kind of difficult, but gets much easier after doing it a few times. I also recommend simple crunches and bicycles. Also suicides, which sound much better than they are but are hard to explain. Look them up. Anyway, find simple exercises like that and just try for 10-15 minutes every night. Play some music while you’re doing it.
Also, try to choose the healthier thing when it comes to eating. More importantly, try not to eat too much of it.
Eating too much on a regular basis is a huge factor in gaining weight.
